The story of "The Tiger and the
Brahmin" comes from Nepal. It is a jataka tale - a story about one
of the Buddha's past lives. The Buddha was born in Nepal in the
ancient
kingdom of Kapilavastu. To the left is a photo taken of a Buddha statue
outside
of Kathmandu. In the story, see if you can tell which character is
really the Buddha.
