Trying to impress his friends one day, Dog called out: "Gather around, and I will tell you the secrets of the Creator." 

The Creator heard Dog's offer and became angry. To teach Dog a lesson, he took the power of speech away from him. Since that time, when Dog wants to say something, he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
